Public meeting to be held to discuss Burnham-On-Sea wind farm
plans
A
special public meeting is set to be held in Brent Knoll next month
when local residents will be able to hear more about the controversial
application to build a wind
farm on
the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea.
Sedgemoor
District Council has announced that the meeting will
be held in Brent Knoll Parish Hall on Friday 4th August starting
at 2.30 pm.
"Members
of the public will be able to see a presentation of the application
and give their views to the applicants and members of the Development
Control Committee. No decisions will be taken at this meeting,"
said a spokesman.
The
application will be decided at a Special Meeting of the Development
Control Committee to be held on Tuesday 8th August at Bridgwater
House, King Square, Bridgwater, starting at 10.00am.
The
people who will be permitted to speak at the Development Control
Committee Meeting are the spokesperson for the proposal, the spokesperson
against the proposal, the Parish Council representative, the Ward
Councillor(s), plus the applicant or their agent.
All
speakers will be limited to three minutes each. If you wish to
speak at the Development Control Committee, you need to register
with Democratic Services by 12 noon on Monday 7th August by calling
01278 435418.
