Exclusive: New 12.5 metre tall mobile phone mast earmarked for Brean

Mobile phone operator O2 has this week submitted a controversial planning application to install a new telephone mast in the centre of Brean.

Burnham-On-Sea.com learns the proposed 12.5 metre tall mast is earmarked for land east of the existing Cable and Wireless Transatlantic Cable Landing Station in South Road, as marked on this map.

The 'telecommunications determination' application is due to go before Sedgemoor's planning committee during the next few weeks.
