Burnham-On-Sea
Baptist Church holds successful open weekend

Hundreds
of supporters flocked to Burnham-On-Sea's Baptist Church when
it opened its doors for an open weekend including a flower festival
and various live music events.
The
special event marked the church's successful completion of various
improvements, including the replacement of uncomfortable pews
with new comfortable chairs, and the carpeting of the whole inside
of the building.
The
Burnham Area Evening Flower Club decorated the church with ten
floral displays, including the one pictured at the top of this
page called 'The Good Shepherd'.
Minister
Rev Steve Ayers said a range of musical performances had also
been laid on during Saturday (April 28th) with participants including
Berrow School Drumming Group, Wessex Woodwinds and the Burnham
Excellent Entertainment Society (BEES).
"It's
been a superb event," he said. "It was very well supported
and gave us an opportunity to show everyone the changes we've
made, which have been very well received."
