TV
personality Cheggers brings a smile to Brean!

TV
personality Keith Chegwin was in Brean, near Burnham-On-Sea, on
Thursday morning (July 26th) when GMTV broadcasted live from the
resort's Pontins holiday centre.
The
actor, commonly known as 'Cheggers', filmed a series of breakfast
time segments called 'Keith Chegwin's Campsite Capers'.
He
met holidaymakers and got to see a pig race and meet local Somerset
cheese makers!
'Cheggers'
told Burnham-On-Sea.com at the campsite that the crowds at Brean
had been "absolutely brilliant".
In
the mid 1970s Cheggers became a household name by presenting programmes
such as Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Cheggers Plays Pop
and Saturday Superstore. More
recently, he has presented an outdoor segment on GMTV similar
to his earlier role on The Big Breakfast, and also appeared
in a 2006 episode of the sitcom Extras.
