Film
fan Gaye notches up her 50th visit of the year to Burnham cinema
A
film lover has this week been handed a special loyalty certificate
by cinema bosses in Burnham-On-Sea after being named the Ritz's
best-ever customer.
Gaye
Holman was handed the award and a bottle of bubbly by cinema owners
Pat and Beryl Scott (pictured) as she prepared to watch her 50th
film of the year at the cinema in Victoria Street.
"I
love supporting the Ritz - it's such a special place," said
Gaye, who has been watching flicks there for more than 30 years.
"I've always loved films, from comedies to action titles,
and can remember coming when I was as young as four."
She
added: "I try to make a visit most weeks and this evening's
film brings the tally to 50 for the year so far, but I hope to
make a couple more before the end of 2007 if possible."
Her
favourite film of 2007 was the tearjerker Into The Wild.
She explained: "It was an incredibly moving film - I just
burst into tears at the end."
The
cinema's Pat Scott told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We wanted to
do something special for our best customer - she's a very loyal
supporter who loves films."
