Burnham-On-Sea’s 21st annual Civic Service is to be held in the town’s St Andrew’s Church this autumn.
The yearly event, which sees local people recognised for their commitment to the town, is due to be held on 9th September, it was confirmed this week.
A list of those who will receive awards will be announced by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council during the next few weeks.
The event will be attended by dozens of local dignataries from across Somerset. It was held at King Alfred School last year.
Burnham and Highbridge Town Council is also to unveil a new plaque, to be based in its Jaycroft Road council chambers, listing the names of every civic winner over the last 20 years at this year’s service.
