An elderly Burnham-On-Sea man was rushed to Weston General hospital on Monday morning (February 12th) after suffering head injuries when he was blown over by gale-forced winds.
Paramedics were called to Cross Street after the OAP, aged in his late 70s, was blown over while getting into a vehicle, suffering injuries to head and face.
He was later released from hospital after having several stitches.
