Burnham-On-Sea pub landlord calls 'last orders' for the final
time
Landlord
Kevin Tippets called 'last orders' for the final time on Saturday
night (March 4th) when his Burnham-On-Sea pub shut in order to
be replaced by a new development of flats.
Dozens
of regulars gathered for a party at The Crown Inn in Oxford Street,
which was open for the final time on Saturday.
An
auction of furniture and other internal fittings will be held
at the pub on March 22nd, before the property is bulldozed later
in the year to make way for a development of flats.
Mr
Tippets told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I have made many friends
here. I've been here for seven years and have had lots of great
times. It's a day of mixed feelings."
