An
evening of foot-tapping Broadway musical entertainment drew a
capacity crowd to Burnham-On-Sea's Princess Hall on Saturday (July
21st).
Curtain
Call School of Performing Arts has been rehearsing for its annual
summer show, called 'Broadway and Beyond', for several months
and all the hard work paid off with the event being a sell-out.
"We
had some great numbers in the show this year. Everyone has worked
so hard - it's been a real team effort," Principal Patricia
Ham told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The
group is making a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, its charity
of the year, following Saturday's show. "One of our students,
Tilly Allen, has the condition. She's a superstar when it comes
to coping with her CF and it's made us all too aware that we shouldn't
take our health for granted," added Patricia.
