Morland RoadPolice made a further two arrests in Highbridge on Friday (November 30th) in connection with their ongoing investigations into drug dealing in the town.

Burnham-On-Sea.com learns two people - a male and female - were held after a drugs warrant was executed in Morland Road (pictured).

"Small amounts of substances believed to be cannabis resin and heroin were recovered, along with a stolen mobile phone," a spokesman for Burnham police told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"Two people were arrested and both were released on bail pending further enquiries."

He added that Burnham police welcome any information from the public regarding drug dealing in the town. CrimeStoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Burnham-On-Sea.com reported earlier this week how four warrants had been carried out in the Abingdon Street, Smith Way, Huntspill Road and Worston Lane areas with four people being arrested for drugs offences and two cautions given.
