Cyclist dies after collision
on Burnham-On-Sea roundabout
A
cyclist who was injured in a collision at the Edithmead roundabout
near Burnham-On-Sea earlier this month has died, police announced
on Monday.
The
66-year-old man from Winscombe tragically died at Frenchay Hospital
on Sunday.

reported earlier this
month how a cyclist had been rushed to Frenchay hospital
with 'life-changing injuries' following a serious incident at
the roundabout, pictured, at 10.40am on May 10th.
A
silver-coloured Citroen Picasso collided with a cyclist on the
approach to the roundabout.
An
ambulance was called and the casualty was put into a neck injury
brace and then moved to Weston General Hospital before being later
transferred to Frenchay, where he has been ever since.
Police
spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Police would
like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the
time of the collision and may be able to help with enquiries.
They should contact our Road Collision team on 0845 456 7000."
