Burnham-On-Sea
fishmonger is named county's best independent shop

A
Burnham-On-Sea fishmonger is celebrating this week after being
named Somerset's Best Independent Food Shop for 2007.
Seafoods
in the High Street picked up the award, which is run by Somerset
Life magazine, at the Royal Bath and West Show after scores of
the shop's customers cast their votes in favour of the business.
Manager
Steve Wright was handed the award by BBC Points West presenter
Sally Chandler and said he was "delighted" to have won.
He
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We could hardly believe it - we
were up against some tough competition this year - and thank all
our customers for voting for us."
It's
the shop's second award during the last six months. Last year,
it came third in the Federation of Small Businesses' 2006 Most
Successful Business awards.
