Burnham-On-Sea care home welcomes MP for seasonal visit

MP David Heathcoat-Amory with Frith House resident Betty ReichmannBurnham-On-Sea's MP has paid a seasonal visit to Frith House Residential Care Home in the town.

David Heathcoat-Amory, who is no stranger to Frith House, was welcomed by Manager Paul Cullis before he met some of the residents at the home.

Much emphasis is placed on Frith House being 'a home from home' for residents and this became very evident during the visit.

Mr Heathcoat-Amory spoke to resident Betty Reichmann (pictured), who came from Devon to recuperate and has remained there ever since. She told the MP she hopes to continue to live there it is so well organised.

Mr Heathcoat-Amory said: "I always enjoy visiting Frith House where there is always a nice welcoming atmosphere."

"It is very evident that every effort is made to provide a happy and caring environment, whilst at the same time the residents are allowed to maintain their independence. Full credit must be given to the management and staff for their hard work and dedication."
