Burnham
and Highbridge Gateway Club heads off to Blackpool

Burnham-On-Sea
Mayor Pauline Pollard helped excited members of Burnham and Highbridge
Gateway Club with last-minute packing at the town's BAY Centre
on Monday (June 18th) when the group gathered for the start of
their club's annual holiday.
Last
summer, the group enjoyed a stay in Lyme
Regis, and this year they've headed north to the popular seaside
resort of Blackpool.
Club
Chairman Arthur Thorogood told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Everyone
in the group really looks forward to these yearly trips, which
are always thoroughly enjoyed. They're all off
for a five-day stay in Blackpool this year."
The
club, which is over 25 years old, provides social activities for
local adults with learning disabilities.
