Council
vows to clean-up as graffiti vandals strike again in Highbridge
Graffiti
vandals have struck again in Highbridge this week, daubing more
messages on walls and fences in several areas of the town, much
to the concern of local residents.
In
the latest incidents, Southwell House, Wade House and Alpha House
have all been targeted - prompting a clean-up operation by Sedgemoor
District Council's Clean Surroundings Team.
Claire
Faun, district council spokeswoman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We
will be clearing the graffiti from the council's property."
"But
unfortunately, there's very little our clean surroundings team
can do with regards to private properties."
Earlier
this month, Burnham-On-Sea.com reported
how the town had been hit by a wave of graffiti.
