Great
start to Burnham-On-Sea carnival club's season

Burnham-On-Sea's
carnival club got off to a winning start at Bridgwater Carnival
on Friday (November 9th) by scooping second place in their category
and doing the same at North Petherton on Saturday (November 10th).
An
estimated crowd of 100,000 people filled Bridgwater's streets
to see more than 150 colourful entries wend their way through
the town.
Hillview
Juvenile Carnival Club's float, called 'Daddy Cool - Ice Cool',
clearly impressed the judges by scooping second place in the Juvenile
category, delighting crew members who now move on to North Petherton
on Saturday night (November 10th).
The
club's John Carpenter told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a
great start to the carnival season - we're delighted to have picked
up a second prize."
