Special: Crowds flock to Burnham-On-Sea's annual hospital fete

Large
crowds of holidaymakers and residents turned out to support Burnham-On-Sea
hospital's annual summer
fete when it was held on Bank Holiday Monday (August 27th).
Organiser
Tony Dheal told Burnham-On-Sea.com that "several thousand
pounds" was expected to have been raised at the popular event,
held in the town's Manor Gardens.
"When
the weather's fine, the crowds come out," said Tony. "It's
been a really successful afternoon - and lots of charities have
benefited from this event today, not just the hospital."
Stalls
from more than 30 local good causes were set up selling merchandise
and offering refreshments and entertainment. Canine Capers (pictured
above) also performed a show of dog handling skills.
