Burnham-On-Sea's annual Jazz In The Park ready for this weekend
Burnham-On-Sea
jazz fans are in for a treat this weekend when the resort's annual
Jazz In The Park concert is held in the town.
The
event gets underway at 1pm in the Manor Gardens this Sunday (June
3rd) with three different jazz bands providing a foot-tapping
afternoon of music.
The
Severn Jazzmen will play from 1pm-2.10pm, followed by The New
Society Jazz Band from 2.20pm-3.30pm, and the City Steam Jazz
Band from 3.45pm through to 5pm.
Run
by the Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Cultural Arts Development
Society (CADS), the event is free.
The
group will also hold Burnham's Picnic In The Park on July 15th,
Jazz On The Green in Highbridge on August 5th, and Folk In The
Park on September 2nd as part of this year's FolkFest.
Tickets have gone on sale this week for Brent
Knoll's 11th annual Jazz On The Green concert, which is to be
held on July 14th at 7.30pm. The Dart Valley Stompers will headline
the event. Tickets are £7.50 adults and £4 for under
14s. Tickets are available from Brent Knoll Post Office or by
