New Burnham-On-Sea seafront lights set to arrive this week

Burnham-On-Sea's brand new seafront illuminations are due to be delivered this week, with work to install them scheduled to start early next week.

The brand new lights - which have cost £21,000 - will be delivered by their manufacturer, Gala Lights.

A local electrician has been contracted to install the 90 new lights (pictured) over several days next week.

Town councillors have this week discussed various potential dates to switch them on, with Saturday July 28th the favourite. It will be the first day of Burnham's week-long regatta.
