Burnham-On-Sea
tea party raises funds for local hospice
More
than 50 people flocked to a fundraising tea party in Burnham-On-Sea
on Wednesday afternoon (June 27th) when they helped raise money
for St Margaret's Hospice.
The
event, held in the Masonic Hall in Burnham, was part of a series
of parties being held across the country as part of the UK's Biggest
Tea Party.
Wednesday's
event in Burnham was expected to have raised several hundred pounds
for St Margaret's Hospice - delighting charity representative
Barbara Fletcher, who was at the event.
St
Margaret's Somerset Hospice is a local charity committed to providing
specialist care, advice and respite to patients and their families
living in the region who have a terminal or life-limiting illness.
