Burnham's
Moose International group holds harvest meal at Berrow

Members
of Burnham-On-Sea Lodge 123 and their partners were treated to
a harvest meal on Saturday evening (September 29th) by members
of the Burnham Moose ladies circle.
After
the meal, entertainment was provided by West Huntspill's Coastline
Singers (pictured right), who sang favourites such as 'Cabaret',
'What shall we do with the drunken sailor?' and 'Who will buy?'
from 'Oliver' the musical.
The evening was concluded by a charity auction conducted in his
own entertaining way by Brother Brian Saunders (pictured below),
who raised over £90, and a raffle, conducted by the ladies
circle.
Altogether,
it is estimated that the evening raised approximately £250
towards locally supported Moose Ladies charities, to be distributed,
as decided, over the coming year.
Moose International is a fraternal organisation based on family
values that raises money for local and national charities, and
provides support to each other. The lodge meets on the fourth
Thursday of each calender month at 7.30pm at Berrow Village Hall
in Berrow.
