Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary Nick Clegg MP visited Burnham-On-Sea on Friday (March 16th).

Mr Clegg, pictured, was accompanied by Tessa Munt, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for the Wells constituency, which covers Burnham-On-Sea.

The two visited King Alfred School for 90 minutes, during which time they toured the school, had lunch with the teaching team, and discussed current topical news subjects with pupils.

Our photos show Mr Clegg and Mrs Munt with Liberal Democrat town councillors Hilary Rose and Mike Mansfield.

“We met with staff, students and the School Council and there was a question time period when Nick and I answered questions from pupils,” said Ms Munt.
