Two
Burnham-On-Sea charities receive concert cash windfalls
Two
worthy local causes have this week been presented with cheques
following a night of fundraising music at a Burnham-On-Sea pub.
Burnham-On-Sea's
Gateway Club and the local branch of the NSPCC both received £437.50
- their share of the proceeds from a concert at The Railway Inn
earlier this month.
"It went brilliantly and everyone had a great time,"
Gateway Club Chairman Arthur Thorogood told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The
pub and all the bands taking part gave their time and facilities
at no cost - so everything raised has gone straight to the charities."
The
event was a big success for local company Fubar Promotions, which
organised the evening.

the two charities outside The Railway Inn in the High Street.
