Youths arrested in Burnham-On-Sea police crackdown at estate

Rosewood Avenue residents meet Burnham's MP

A vandalism-hit Burnham-On-Sea estate which was visited by town MP David Heathcoat-Amory during February has been the target of a police crackdown during recent days.

Burnham-On-Sea.com learns that seven youths have been arrested on the Rosewood Estate following months of vandalism.

Burnham Police confirmed on Monday that the youths had been arrested in an effort to stamp down on 'petty crime', which has included walls being smashed and gates being taken off hinges.

Local residents had said in February that cars had also being damaged, hedges being damaged and garden furniture stolen.
