Brean Sand Yachting Regatta 2007
Gusty
wind provided challenging conditions for competitors during the
2007 National Sand Yachting Regatta on Brean Beach on Saturday
(March 10th).
The
two-day event kicked off on Saturday morning and although strong
winds initially led to fast 60mph speeds being clocked up by the
27 competitors, the wind died down by lunchtime and the first
race had to be postponed.
