First
look at Burnham-On-Sea's new seafront illuminations

Seafront
walkers in Burnham-On-Sea got a first glimpse of the town's brand
new £21,000 illuminations on Monday (July 2nd).
Ninety
of the new lights are being installed along The Esplanade this
week after Gala Lights, the manufacturer, delivered them.
Each
set of the new illuminations, pictured, has four vertical blue
lines with two wavey white lines running down the outside.
The
new lights are expected to be switched on at the start of Burnham's
regatta week on Saturday July 28th - as Burnham-On-Sea.com first
reported last week.
Dozens
of the previous lights were damaged during powerful 75mph storms
in January.
