Injured
seagull in safe hands after help from Burnham-On-Sea lifeguards
An
injured seagull found limping along Burnham-On-Sea's beach is
in safe hands after being helped by the town's lifeguards on Tuesday
(August 28th).
The young herring gull was spotted on the sands with a broken
wing - and lifeguards Kate Trunks, Tom Jacobs and Barney Jacobs
couldn't turn a blind eye.
Jetty
Manager David Whitehead explained: "The bird kept wandering
along the sand and could not fly off."
"We
realised there was something wrong with its left wing, so we captured
it and have now passed it on to Secret World wildlife centre for
them to help it."
