Burnham-On-Sea
night
club to hold weekly evening for teenagers

Burnham-On-Sea night club is to introduce a weekly special evenings
for teenagers in the town.
Backed
by Burnham Police and the YMCA, the weekly sessions at Shakers
Night Club in the High Street will be held every Friday during
the summer from June 29th.

Tracey Stiles of Burnham-On-Sea Police said: "If you're a
teenager in Burnham you don't need me to tell you how difficult
it is to have anything worthy to do come the weekends."
"This
summer, however, things are looking up. Shakers, in association
with various local community interests, has created a Friday night
like no other - a unique club experience dedicated only to the
forgotten 15+ age group."
"The
nights will boast a totally interactive schedule, created around
your interests and ideas, from 7pm-11pm every Friday from June
29th."
Entry to the Shakers Graffiti nights will cost £5, inclusive
of all drinks, entry, music and featuring 'Take to the decks',
a new local DJ competition.
