Winners of Burnham-On-Sea shop window competition announced

Eagle-eyed shoppers who took part in a competition to find dozens of unusual items in shop windows across Burnham-On-Sea received their prizes this week.

Competition logo The eight winners were announced during the annual general meeting of the Chamber of Trade held at The Ritz Social Club on Tuesday evening (April 24th).

Competition organiser Tom Kyffin said: "We had 191 entries in all and, of those, 18 correctly named all 37 odd items. We were delighted with the response and thank all those shops who took part and those who entered."

First place of £100 cash went to Sandra Shillaker, while second place was shared by Lucia Blackmore (£25 Sea Breeze voucher), Jo Harris (£25 Material Needs voucher), The Mallinson Family (£25 Kyffins voucher), and Laura Probert (£25 Wheatley Clinic voucher).

Sixth place went to Charlotte Richards (£20 Ritz Cinema voucher), and seventh place was shared by Megan Williams (£10 Shickles Shoes voucher) and Fergus and Finlay McDiarmid (£10 Shickles Shoes voucher).
