Burnham twinning group makes
final preparations for special concert
Members
of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Twinning Association are
making final preparations for a visit by musicians from our twinned
French town.
A
35-strong group of musicians from Louvigne du Desert in Brittany
will bring their band, L'Harmonie St Martin, to Burnham for a
special performance at the start of November.
Members
of Burnham's Town Twinning Association (pictured) are making final
arrangements for the concert, to be held in King Alfred School
at 7.30pm on Saturday November 3rd.
"The
concert will be open to everyone and promises to be an entertaining
night of quality French music," said Twinning Group President
Hilary Rose, who is pictured above with fellow members Mike Mansfield
and Rod Winfield.
Tickets
for the concert will be available on the door priced at £3
per head, and more information is available on 01278 789824.
