Burnham-On-Sea
businesses targeted by vandals

Burnham-On-Sea
shopkeepers are once again counting the cost of crime after vandals
struck three businesses in the town on Friday night (April 27th).
The
Kebab Kitchen in the High Street, pictured above, had a large
pane of glass smashed, leaving its owners with a repair bill of
several hundred pounds.
Abbott
& Frost estate agents had to board up one of its windows in
Victoria Street on Saturday morning after it too was attacked,
as pictured right.
And
Michael's Bar on the seafront also fell victim to the vandalism
spree, with one of its windows being completely shattered.
Burnham
police are studying CCTV footage to check whether any of the incidents
have been captured on film.
According
to members of Burnham-On-Sea's discussion
forums, there were also violent scenes in the High Street
near the kebab shop.
The
latest incidents come just days after police
reassured traders that crime in the town is being brought
under control.
