Lovers of fine wines will have the chance to sample some of the best from around the world when Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club holds an international wine festival later this month.

Burnham Rotary Club is hoping to attract wine connoisseurs from around the district to the annual event, which will be held at the Lakeside Holiday Park in Westfield Road, Burnham on Friday 16th February from 7pm.

“A host of wines from amongst the best wine-producing countries in the world will be available with light refreshments. There will also be prize draws on the night,” said Rotary spokesman George Moon.

“The event has been a regular charity fundraising fixture every year since 1962. Tickets for the Festival cost £9.50, which includes wine and nibbles, and can be bought in advance from Rotarian Roy Twining on 01278 787498 or Rotarian Brian Bell on 01278 783502, or on the door subject to availability.”
