Three vehicle collision near Highbridge causes delays for motorists

Burnham-On-Sea police rushed to West Huntspill, near Highbridge, on Wednesday morning (August 6th) after a three car collision left the road partially closed.

The incident, on the A38 Main Road, occurred near the junction with Withy Road at 11.30am, as pictured above.

Police diverted traffic around the scene and spokesman Clare Giordmaine told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I can confirm that police were called to a three vehicle collision late on Wednesday morning."

"Fortunately, there were just a few minor injuries, with only cuts and bruises. The road was fully cleared and running as normal by 12.15pm."
