Paramedics help man after
Burnham-On-Sea High Street incident
The
centre of Burnham-On-Sea briefly came to a standstill earlier
this week when paramedics were called to treat an elderly man
who had collapsed.
Two
ambulances were sent to the High Street on Tuesday afternoon (March
18th), as pictured here.
A
PCSO from Burnham police performed CPR on the casualty before
the ambulances arrived.
South
Western Ambulance spokeswoman Melodie Juste confirmed: "We
sent two resources to the High Street at 2.25pm."
"Crews
performed CPR at the scene and a 70 year-old male patient was
taken to Weston General Hospital."
