District council's map shows 'development potential' for centre of Highbridge
This map - which has been sent by Sedgemoor District Council to prospective purchasers of the Bank Street Car Park - outlines what it calls the "development potential" for the centre of Highbridge. It clearly shows how two large multi-storey blocks of flats could be built on the site of the Bank Street Car Park if it gets sold off. And the map describes the green area next to the Frank Foley Statue as providing "potential for a new town square". Furthermore, it says that the large commercial building at the Church Street entrance to the car park is a "potential redevelopment opportunity."
