Burnham-On-Sea
group invites to you to make a beeline to its classes
A
chance to learn more about bees is being offered by the Burnham-On-Sea
branch of the Somerset Beekeepers Association, which is running
newcomers' classes from this Thursday (January 17th) at Watchfield
Village Hall.
The free courses will be held on six consecutive Thursday evenings
from 17th January to 21st February at 7.30pm.
The
tutor, Gerald Fisher, is a well-known lecturer on bee matters
and is an experienced beekeeper who featured in the recent BBC
TV programme One Man And His Bees.
Topics
to be covered include what is beekeeping, elementary biology,
bee handling, honey production and trouble shooting.
