Motorist injured in two vehicle accident in Berrow

These were the scenes in Berrow, near Burnham-On-Sea, on Thursday afternoon (June 5th) after a two vehicle accident caused delays for motorists.

Police and paramedics were called to Barton Road at 3.15pm following the two vehicle collision, which involved a Ford and a Vauxhall.

Burnham police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "One man suffered neck and arm injuries and was treated by the ambulance crew."

He added that Barton Road had remained open during the incident, with Burnham police diverting traffic around the scene. The road was busy at the time with parents picking up children from nearby Berrow Primary School.
