Heavy
rain fails to dampen spirits at Brean fireworks display
Crowds
of spectators braved heavy rain and gusty winds in Brean on Saturday
evening (November 1st) when the resort's leisure park held its
final fireworks display of the year.
Several
hundred people watched a bonfire and 15-minute fireworks display
at Brean Leisure Park, as pictured here. The poor weather meant
the crowds were smaller than at some of the other four displays
held throughout the year.
There
were collections for several good causes, including St John Ambulance,
Burnham Sea Cadets and BARB. The fireworks were supplied by 'Skyburst
The Firework Company', which is also behind next Sunday's
fireworks display on Burnham seafront.
