Safety
warning issued to mariners in Burnham due to faulty buoy
Mariners
in Burnham-On-Sea are this week being warned to take extra caution
when sailing into the town's bay due to a faulty buoy.
An
official Notice to Mariners has been distributed to water users
due to 'number two buoy' near Stert Island being unlit due to
a technical problem with its solar panels.
"Mariners
are advised to navigate with caution until the light can be re-instated,"
Bridgwater Bay Harbour Master Chris Spencer told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
