Search
gets underway for Burnham-On-Sea's carnival queen
The
search has begun this week for a carnival queen and princesses
to lead this year's Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Carnival.
The annual competition to find a queen and two princesses will
be held on Saturday July 19th at Home Farm Holiday Park in Burnham.
As
well as leading November's annual parade through the town, the
queen will also present the winning carnival floats with their
prizes.
Entrants
for carnival princess must be aged between 7 and 12 and live within
six miles of Burnham or Highbridge, while the queen must be aged
15 or older and also live within six miles of the town.
Entry
forms are available for princess and queen from Abbott And Frost
Estate Agents in Burnham, or by calling the carnival representive
of Burnham Round Table, Tim Walters, on 0789 483 4776.
