Vehicles
damaged by vandals in centre of Burnham-On-Sea

Hundreds
of pounds of damage was caused to vehicles in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea
over the Easter weekend when vandals 'keyed' several cars, leaving
them with deep scratches.
Residents
in Adam Street told Burnham-On-Sea.com the vehicles were so badly
damaged that they now require expensive respray work.
The
owner of this blue Nissan Note faces a hefty bill when a scratch
was left down the whole of one size of the vehicle, as pictured
above.
Adam
Street resident Pat Dee said: "They keyed my son's vehicle
from the front to the back, leaving a scratch that is almost a
quarter of an inch deep in parts. Another car was left with a
two and a half foot long scratch."
Husband
Paul added: "Better CCTV camera coverage is needed in the
centre of Burnham so that police can keep an eye out and avoid
problems like this."
Police
are investigating and have appealed for anyone with information
to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
