Man
suffers head injuries in Burnham-On-Sea building site incident

A
24-year-old man was rushed to hospital after an accident on a
Burnham-On-Sea building site on Thursday morning (June 5th) that
left wet cement sprayed over nearby homes.
Two
ambulances were sent to Oxford Street at 8.43am, as pictured here,
after the incident at the building site of the former Crown Inn.
Jonathan
Wall, South West Ambulance spokesman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"A person sustained head injuries after being hit by wet
concrete."
"The
24 year-old was taken to Weston-super-Mare General Hospital for
treatment."
Workmen
were later seen in the street washing down the walls, windows
and doors of several homes opposite the building site which had
been splattered with wet cement - as pictured here.
It
is not the first incident at the building site. Burnham-On-Sea.com
reported
last year how gas supplies in the area had been cut when a
pipe was severed at the site.
