Police appeal for motorist to come forward after Highbridge accident

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital following a collision with a car in the centre of Highbridge on Friday night (September 19th).

Police were called to the junction of Church Street and Coronation Road at 11.15pm following the accident, which involved a white Volkswagen Golf Mk2 and the yellow motorbike pictured here.

The driver of the car did not stop after the accident and Burnham-On-Sea police have appealed to the motorist to get in touch to help them with enquiries.

The motorcylist was taken to Weston General Hospital by ambulance, but was not believed to have been seriously injured. Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
