Herd the news? Cows on the moo-ve delay trains in Burnham area!

This herd of wandering cows caused long delays for train travellers in the Burnham-On-Sea area on Saturday afternoon (December 6th) after venturing onto railway tracks.

The group of seven cattle managed to escape from a field near Pople's Bow in Highbridge, leading to speed restrictons being introduced for all train services.

The animals were eventually herded away to safety by a farmer, allowing travel to return to normal.
