star David Bellamy to visit Burnham-On-Sea
 TV
star David Bellamy will be visiting Burnham-On-Sea later this
month.
The
botanist, author and broadcaster will make an appearance at Burnham
Holiday Village for the park's 'Big Green Weekend'.
Haven
Holidays spokeswoman Deborah McCabe told Burnham-On-Sea.com on
Wednesday: "The festival will be held on June 20th to celebrate
all things green."
"The
activities will include bat detecting, bird watching, kite flying,
conservation workshops, rock pool rambles and green fancy dress
competitions."
David
last visited the Burnham-On-Sea area in 2006,
as pictured, when he joined protestors in campaigning against
a proposed wind farm at Brent Knoll. David will be at Burnham
Holiday Village from 4pm on June 20th.
