Burnham
beach donkeys join seafront traffic as vehicle breaks down
Bemused
seafront walkers wondered whether the owner of Burnham-On-Sea's
beach donkeys had introduced a new seafront route to walk her
animals on Monday (June 30th) after seven were seen wandering
along The Esplanade, as pictured here.
Yet
in fact the owner had actually got into difficulty when her horse
box had broken down further along the seafront.
Since
the donkeys could not be left in the vehicle in sweltering hot
conditions, they were led by hand along The Esplanade to the beach
while the vehicle was attended to by a roadside recovery service.
