Drink driver arrested after collision with van in Burnham-On-Sea

A Highbridge man has been arrested and charged with drink driving after crashing into this van on Burnham's Marine Drive.

The incident took place at 3.52am on Sunday (March 9th) when a Ford Mondeo collided with the van, leaving it badly dented.

"A 23 year-old man from Highbridge was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to Bridgwater Police Station," police spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"He has been charged with drink driving and driving without a licence and will appear at Sedgemoor Magistrates Court on March 25th."
