Imitation firearm and drugs seized by police in Highbridge
Police
officers from Burnham-On-Sea executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrants
in Highbridge on Friday morning (August 1st).
Police
raided a home in Morland Road, Highbridge, where an amount of
suspected Class C drugs, an imitation firearm and a machete were
seized.
Two
men were arrested from this address, one in their 30s and the
other in their 50s and they remain in custody.
Neighbourhood
Sergeant Mike Tripp told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The warrants
executed today were a direct result of community intelligence
given to the Highbridge and Cheddar Safer Stronger Neighbourhood
teams."
"We
are continually out there building relationships with members
of the local community and would like to thank them for their
continuing support."
