Edithmead Flower Festival raises hundreds of pounds for church

A colourful flower festival held at a church on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea attracted crowds of visitors earlier this week.

The two-day event was held to raise money for Edithmead Church and over a dozen flower displays were on show inside.

"We saw a steady trickle of visitors over the two days and hope to have raised over £200," church spokesman Richard Hawkins told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
