Motorists faced lengthy queues in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday morning (August 16th) after an accident on a busy town centre roundabout.
One car was badly damaged, as pictured above, after colliding into a motorhome on the roundabout besides the Esso petrol station.
The incident led to a build-up of holiday traffic in the area, with Love Lane, Berrow Road and Oxford Street all seeing slow-moving traffic during the early part of the morning.
An eyewitness at the scene told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the female driver of the car, who was aged in her 60s, was fortunate to have suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
